Providers are notified via e-mail when an applicable official notice is issued. Providers must give Provider Enrollment a valid, current e-mail address to receive such e-mail notification. If you need to update your e-mail address, you may do so by logging on the provider portal or by completing a provider address change form found in Section V of your provider manual.
When providing your email address, please consider the following:
• ensure your email address is legible,
• a generic email address
that can be accessed by more than one person (e.g.,

may have to instruct your network administrator or email provider to
accept emails from ‘gainwelltechnologies.com’. Arkansas Medicaid
sends email in bulk and some email services block bulk email unless
instructed otherwise.

Hepatitis C update
Arkansas Medicaid has updated the prior authorization criteria for Hepatitis C reviews. The requirement for a certain fibrosis score, which dictates the amount of fibrosis in the liver, has been removed from the criteria. Fibrosis scores will no longer determine treatment eligibility. In addition, sobriety for at least 6 months prior to the requested treatment is no longer applicable. All prior authorization requests received will continue to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
